Brigitte Beyer

Brigitte Beyer is a ceramicist artist working under the nom-de-plume BRB Ceramics. She is based in studio in Carrington where she makes, bakes, and teaches pottery, accompanied by her aptly-named dog Dusty. Brigitte completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours at the Univerisity of Newcastle specialising in Photography and Film before being drawn to clay as a way to "flex creative muscles" in a life post-study. Brigitte’s creative practice has developed to focus solely on ceramics, and her work is distinctive across Newcastle’s arts community. She makes fine art ceramic pieces in diverse shapes and styles, has exhibited her work at Maitland Regional Art Gallery, The Lock Up, and Back to Back Galleries, and stocks her pieces at The Lair and House of Lita.
